Character Education Programme (CEP)

Our Philosophy:

One of the main purposes of the Taleem Institute is to ensure that our students develop a good character which they are able to use in their daily lives when interacting with others. Our Character education programme aims to deliver the following 5 key principals:

  1. Tolerance
  2. Integrity
  3. Respect
  4. Appreciation
  5. Ethical

We believe these key principals will enable our students to be morally and ethically upright young people who will be able to play an active role in the wider society to bring about a positive change for all.

Our character education programme will underpin everything in the Taleem Institute. However, we will use some distinct methods to promote and deliver the character education programme. They are:

a) Curriculumexploring and learning about key features of character education

b) Assemblyfocusing on moral and ethical themes

c) Reflection timegiving students the time to think about the opportunities that they have and learn to show a sense of appreciation

d) Role model – both teachers and students acting as role models for others to follow

e) Weekly hadith/supplicationsgiving all the students an opportunity to learn and reflect on weekly spiritual teachings
